What is VidOps?

VidOps is a media content creation company. I know, blah blah blah, but wait, we’re different! We support and manage media creation like photo and video for brands, like you, who want to create amazing content.

VidOps’ Creative Community are available on-demand, meaning you can book one of us with as little as 1 hours notice in just a few clicks. From videographers to visual effects artists and everything in between our creative network continues to grow at a staggering pace.

All VidOps Creatives are extremely qualified - we have comprehensive vetting and training processes to ensure both a great service and incredible work.

We have production teams in every major city in the World, so no matter where you need to film, we can assemble a dream team crew.

We support every stage of the production process, from coming up with concepts and writing scripts, to sourcing locations and talent, to a full range of post-production services.

We have an average turnaround time of 7-14 days once we have an approved script and 48 hour delivery once we’ve completed filming.

How does VidOps work?

VidOps allows you to book one of our carefully vetted Creatives with as little as 1 hours’ notice.

We digest your brief and assemble the perfect team and resources from our Creative Community, based on their skillset, location and availability.

How are VidOps’ Creatives vetted?

We are vigilant about the Creatives we select to join our prestigious Creative Community.

VidOps vets each Creative by requesting material from a Creative that will allow VidOps to gain an understanding of that particular Contractor’s skill and ability to meet project requirements. Information is also collected from Creatives when registering for an Account that VidOps reviews to determine a particular Contractor’s background, expertise and interests.

- We carefully check their portfolio and relevant past experience.
- We make sure they all use pro-level equipment. On average our photographers have invested over £5,000 in cameras and lenses.
- We interview them to get to know them as a person and make sure they’re a personality fit.
- As an approximate, only one out of every ten applicants are approved to join the VidOps Creative Community.
- And finally, we keep a close eye on regular work produced by each Creative to ensure that high quality standards are maintained.

This is how VidOps maintains a highly skilful Creative Community. When you book a shoot, we further filter within our network based on the info you provided (shoot type, time & location etc.), and find THE individual who is specifically best suited to excel at YOUR shoot.

How do I start a new project?

What package should I select?

How much does a video cost?

The price of your video is based on a variety of factors. Use our smart platform’s booking system to get a quote for your project.

How can VidOps shoots be so affordable?

Most professional Creatives charge hundreds of dollars for an hour of their time because they need to cover many more hours of business administration. They need to handle their own marketing, billing, networking, branding and much more.

VidOps does all this for them, enabling our Creatives to spend much more of their time shooting which means they can charge much less per hour for the same excellent work. We also match your projects with local creatives meaning reduced travelling costs.

I have special requirements!

Whatever these may be we want your shoot to be perfect. Please email or chat with us and we will try our best to accommodate your wildest desires, or if you’ve already booked, talk to your dedicated team on your project workspace.

How are video projects managed?

We manage all of our projects in the cloud using our VidOps platform, so you can access all of your video assets at any time. We keep everything we use to create your video – scripts, footage, images, music, logos, etc. – in a super organised project folder that you can share with anyone in your company. 12 Months after the project is completed we will reach out to you to see if you want us to save any of these assets.

What happens before and during the shoot?

We keep you informed with an email confirmation once your project has been successfully booked. From here you can access your project on your VidOps dashboard on the website.

From here you can view all the details for your project and see it coming together as you’ll be introduced to your project manager who will get in touch with you well before your shoot to discuss specifics and any concerns.

Your project manager will introduce your creative and your crack team will collaborate on the workspace.

How can I get in touch with a creative on one of my projects?

Once your booking is confirmed, you can chat to your creatives and your VidOps project manager through the VidOps platform. Here in your Project Workspace you can discuss your project requirements in detail.

What happens if I want the creative to extend their time?

Easy! If you do want to continue shooting past your booked timeframe get in touch with your Producer and as long as the Creative is available we can continue shooting at the agreed rate.

Can I make changes to my video in editing?

Yes, you get a full round of edits with every video. First we get together a first cut within 48 hours of your shoot end time, then you can give feedback and we will prepare your second cut.Each round of edits includes any number of changes you want such as making edits to the script, adjusting or adding footage, changing the music, etc.

How will I receive my assets?

Within 48 hours of your shoot finishing, we will deliver the beautifully edited photo gallery or first cut of your video to you via the project dashboard where you can view and download.

What is the difference between retouching and editing photos?

This includes adjustments on exposure, sharpness, contrast, colour tones and temperature, composition etc.It does not include advanced editing services such as skin smoothing, object or blemish removal etc. If you want this ‘Apple’ look you can select this work as an addition.

I’d like some extra photos from my photo session - how do I get these?

We can send you all of the raw files (unedited photographs) from your photo session or you can have them edited.

Can I rebook the same VidOps Creative?

If you are particularly happy with the service you receive from a VidOps Creative you can rebook them for future projects. However, we cannot guarantee that the same Creative will be available on your required date.To ensure a seamless and on-demand service, we suggest you book as normal and let us provide you with the best-fit professional.

How do I pay?

A credit or debit card is required to confirm your booking and reserve your project. We accept credit and debit cards from all major issuers. We ask for 100% upfront payment on projects to cover the cost associated with creating your videos.

Your payment will be securely processed, through one of the world’s most advanced payment gateways. Payment to your Creative is only released when the job is perfectly done and their files have been approved.

What is VidOps cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, so we do allow you to cancel or reschedule your photo or video session. We require 72 hours notice of cancellation for a refund, and 72 hours for rescheduling and changes.

How do I join the VidOps team?

What are your opening hours?

24x7, you can make a booking anytime! Thanks to our superb platform making it easy to book and our large network of Creatives, we can guarantee 100% availability and fast confirmation. Just bear in mind that late night bookings (placed after 11:00pm) may not be confirmed until the following morning. (Yes we sleep too)If you need live help about your booking, you can contact our support team between 9am-5.30pm Mon-Fri UK time.

How do I know if my payment went through?

Once your payment has gone through, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don’t receive a confirmation email and believe you should have done, please contact us HERE.

How do I know when my assets are ready?

Your assets will be with you within 48 hours of shooting. Once they are ready, you will receive an email containing a link to access them and confirmation through the VidOps platform.

Do you have a studio?

Yes, you can book these on the Platform or speak to your Project Manager regarding options and pricing to add on to your project.

I’m having trouble downloading my digital assets - what do I do?

Please contact your Producer through your Project Workspace or get in touch HERE and we will fix the issue immediately.
